1. About the service

SafeRestMarine is a web-based service for recording and monitoring work and rest hours on board professional vessels. The service is provided as-is, and use is at your own risk.

2. User account

To use the service you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. If you discover unauthorized use, notify us immediately.

3. Invite codes

New accounts require a valid invite code issued by an administrator, unless you are creating the first boat in a new project. Codes are personal and may not be sold or transferred.

4. Subscriptions and payment

The Starter plan is free. Pro and Enterprise are paid subscriptions billed monthly. The trial period lasts 14 days. You may cancel at any time, and the subscription runs until the end of the paid period.

5. Regulatory compliance

SafeRestMarine helps you follow applicable work and rest time regulations at sea, including ILO, STCW and MLC. The service is nevertheless an aid. The final responsibility for complying with laws, regulations and company procedures lies with you as a user, captain or shipowner.

6. Intellectual property

All software, design, text and graphics belong to SafeRestMarine. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service in accordance with these terms.

7. Limitation of liability

SafeRestMarine is not liable for indirect losses, downtime, fines or sanctions resulting from calculation errors, outages or misuse of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the previous 12 months.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in case of breach of terms, fraud or illegal use. You may delete your account at any time from the app or by contacting us.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms when necessary. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
